Yosef Krespi, MD, FACS

Chairman of the Board of Directors

Yosef Krespi, MD, FACS - ZelegentDr. Krespi is a board certified otolaryngologist specializing in head and neck surgery at Northwell – Lenox Hill Hospital and Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Krespi graduated from medical school at Technion in Israel and completed his residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. After his fellowship at Mount Sinai, he served as Associate Professor at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He was Professor and Chairman of Otolaryngology at SUNY-Health Science Center in Brooklyn and Chairman at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital. Dr. Krespi has published over 160 scientific medical articles, and has served as editor on four textbooks and written over 60 book chapters. He is one of the world’s leading experts in laser surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, surgery to relieve snoring and sleep apnea, and oral malodor. Dr. Krespi is nationally and internationally recognized for his expertise and has received numerous awards and honors in his field.


 

Alexander K. Arrow, MD, CFA

Operations Consultant and Director

Dr. Alexander Arrow - ZelegentDr. Arrow came to Zelegent, Inc. from Biolase, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOL), the world’s lead manufacturer of dental lasers, where he served as a President and Chief Operating Officer, a Director, and Chair of the Audit and Compensation committees of the Board of Directors. Prior to Biolase, Dr. Arrow was the Chief Medical Officer of Stanford-affiliated neuroscience company Circuit Therapeutics, Inc., and prior to that he spent five years as the Chief Financial Officer of cardiovascular device manufacturer Arstasis, Inc. Before entering medical device manufacturer operating roles, Dr. Arrow spent nine years running medical technology equity research at three Wall Street firms, the last five years at Lazard. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Patent & License Exchange, Inc. He has a medical degree from Harvard Medical School and began his surgical residency at the UCLA Medical Center before leaving clinical practice to go into business.


 

 

Dan “DJ” Sirota

Director

Dan SirotaDJ Sirota is the Vice President for Cook Medical’s MedSurg division, which includes the ENT franchise. He started at Cook as a Critical Care sales representative based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1987. While a sales representative, DJ acted as product manager for the Northern Pacific Rim doing business primarily in Japan and Korea. In 2000, he was asked to work in-house at Cook’s Bloomington, Indiana global headquarters as the Critical Care marketing manager. DJ then transitioned to the Peripheral Intervention unit in 2004 where he became a senior product manager, overseeing products that would eventually become the Interventional Radiology product line. In January of 2009, DJ was asked to lead Cook’s newly launched Interventional Radiology business unit. In 2011 he was asked to also lead the Critical Care division. DJ earned his M.B.A from Indiana Wesleyan University.


David Elliot

Chief Executive Officer & Director

David Elliot has more than 25 years of medical device and biotech experience in sales and marketing leadership, product and market development, strategic planning, business development and program management. He has held CEO, President, COO and Vice President positions at a range of publicly-traded, private and start-up medical device companies including ACell (now Integra), St. Jude Medical (now Abbott Medical) TYRX, Inc. (now Medtronic), Valam, VistaCare (now Odyssey/Gentiva), VasClip, Advanced Respiratory (now Hillrom), Guidant (now Boston Scientific), and Eli Lilly.

His experience includes establishing Strategic direction, M&A and building and leading high-performing sales and marketing teams that drive revenue growth and build enterprise value. Mr. Elliot earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Connecticut College and an MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
